The beads look a lot like these Islamic prayer beads. The bead length of 1.2cm (10-12mm) matches exactly. Can't remember where or when I got them or when I made this necklace. Must have been 12-15 years ago maximum. I recall that the vendor said that they were black coral and silver, but I believe that these are genuine black plastic. I'd love to be wrong. Paula
