I think that perhaps my biggest problem is lighting....

I get lazy, especially when I am trying to take at least two pictures of the thousands of artifacts, beads and bead groups left in my inventory. I need some sort of production type set up both with the photography and the processing.

If I were to mask and replace the background in every picture, it would be the year 2110 before I finished. Ditto with bracketing and so forth. I learned how to take pictures years ago with an SLR in the 1970's. I also did a lot of macro photography, painstaking set up and such with tripods and expensive lenses. The new digitals are a dream as Russ said, but I am still falling short of what I think they should be, so I figure I probably need a better background, as suggested, and a better lighting set up.

When I take the time to go outdoors, in natural light things come out nice, but for me in the wheelchair that is rather cumbersome. I have to have something at wheelchair arm level to be functional at all.

Thanks for all who offered suggestions.
